The angel of
the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for
there is no want to them that fear him (Ps. 34:7-9).
COMMON GRACE
ARGUMENT:
The psalmist’s exhortation, “O taste and
see that the Lord is good,” is interpreted by some to be a “general offer of
salvation” and an expression of a gracious disposition of God towards all men.

This is a command.
All who come to Christ enjoy His goodness. The next bit says, “blessed is the
man that trusteth in him.” The next verse talks about His “saints” (v. 9).
