There
is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above
all, and through all, and in you all (Eph. 4:4-6).
COMMON GRACE ARGUMENT:
This text is sometimes
quoted in support of a “universal Fatherhood of God”—namely, that all
creatures, elect and reprobate, including the demons, are “children” of God in
one sense, though not in a “saving” sense.

When it says “all” it doesn’t mean “all men
absolutely.” It means all the saints in the “one body.”
